This statement covers the Materials and Services provided by the A&DC Websites: apolloadmin.adc.uk.com and apolloassessment.adc.uk.com. It describes how we collect, protect and use information we receive from visitors to these Websites. These Websites are owned and operated by A&DC.

A&DC is a company that provides talent management solutions for use in various human resource management processes such as recruitment, selection, learning and development. We design and use talent management tools (including but not restricted to the assessment of individuals’ abilities, motives and competencies) to meet our Clients’ needs and for our own research purposes.
When you visit the Website you may be asked to provide certain information about yourself including but not restricted to your name, contact details, gender, age, other personal details and details regarding your employment, as well as to create and/or maintain a user name and password.
We may use your personal information for the following purposes: accounting, billing and audit, credit or other payment card verification, security, administrative and legal purposes, systems testing, maintenance and product development, customer relations, in carrying out obligations under contracts entered into between you and us and to help us in any future dealings with you.
Your personal information may be used to provide reports and services to our Clients and to you if you are a Participant. These reports and services may be used by our Clients in the selection and development of individuals in a recruitment, selection or employment context. Personally identifiable information about a Participant will only be made accessible to a Client when the Participant completes an assessment test, survey, questionnaire or other product on this Website in order to gain employment with that Client or as part of a selection, development or survey activity in their current employment with the Client. In addition to containing personally identifiable information about Participants, reports and services provided to such Clients or generated by Clients, our associated companies and approved agents, may include scores, statistics or personal profiles derived from Participants’ individual or composite test, survey or questionnaire results.
Participant data may also be used for our own research purposes. Examples include but are not restricted to generating norm groups and conducting statistical research to examine the reliability, validity and adverse impact of our Materials and Services. We may also use Participant data in the development of new Materials and Services both for our own use and by third parties.
Information we collect about you, but which does not identify you personally, may be passed to other companies within A&DC or its approved agents, current or future potential Clients or research institutions that may use such information for some of the purposes set out above. Such companies may be located in countries outside the UK, which do not have data protection laws to protect your information.
Supplying your data to such companies may also result in your data being transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. We also collect the domain names, email address and other personal data of those who communicate with us.

We generally keep your personal details indefinitely for the purposes that we have mentioned above. However in certain circumstances we may destroy or delete any of your personal information that we hold. If you complete an assessment test, survey, questionnaire or other product on this Website as a Participant to gain employment with a Client or as part of a selection, development or survey activity in your current employment with a Client, then that Client may retain personally identifiable sensitive information about you as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998.
A&DC is not responsible for the privacy practices of our Clients, including their policies on the retention and storage of Participant information. However, we do expect all Clients who use this Website to comply with our Privacy Policy in respect of using the Materials and Services and also to abide by relevant standards set by professional bodies.
Please note that our policies on privacy will be overridden where we are required or permitted to disclose personal information under law or the terms of any court order.
8.0 Access to your Personal Information
You may contact A&DC if you would like to gain access to, or modify your personal information held by us to ensure that it is accurate and kept up-to-date. You can write to the address shown below. We will not charge for responding to such a request, unless we incur costs in providing the information, in which case we will communicate the fee in advance of providing the information.

Requests can be submitted to the above address by printing and completing a Personal Information Request Form (55KB PDF). This form will help you to give us all the necessary information to enable us to comply with your request. Alternatively, you can submit your request by email to: PrivacyOfficer@adc.uk.com.
Requests made by email must include all information from the Personal Information Request Form. The email request must be followed up with written proof of identity (see below). Please note that the period of 40 days in which A&DC must respond to the request will not commence until we have received written proof of your identity.
Requests cannot be made by telephone or any other means.
Proof of identity may be provided in the following forms:
- A paper copy of a bank statement or utility bill (e.g. gas or electricity).
- A paper copy of your driving license, birth certificate, passport or benefits book.
Proof of identity should be signed and dated by you and sent to the address above with a stamped addressed envelope so that we can send you the information requested. Alternatively, at your request, we can email the information to you.
When we have processed your request, we will send you:
- Confirmation of whether A&DC is processing personal data about you.
- A brief description of the data.
- The purposes of processing the data.
- An explanation of any codes or abbreviations we use to interpret the data.
- If possible, information about the sources of the data.
We will respond to your request within forty days of receipt, or if later within forty days of receiving the fee (if required) and the information needed to verify your identity and locate the information you seek.
